✦ International Healthcare Coordination

The same quality care.
A fraction of the cost.
Fully guided.

The same procedures available in the US often cost 2, 3, even 5 times more here. Internationally accredited hospitals abroad use the same technology, follow the same standards, and are staffed by highly trained specialists — many of whom trained in the US or Europe. At MyMediTour, we help you access these options safely.

Let's talk about something most people don't realize

The US charges 2, 3, even 5 times more
for the same procedures.

It's not about quality. It's about how healthcare systems are structured — overhead, insurance models, and pricing. Many international hospitals use the same technology and follow the same standards as the best US facilities.

In the United States
💸
$30,000–$80,000+ for major procedures
Surgeries like knee replacement, cardiac procedures, or bariatric surgery routinely cost $30,000 to $80,000 or more in the US — even with insurance partially covering it.
Long wait times, complex approval processes
Many patients wait months for insurance approvals, surgery dates, or specialist access — while their condition continues to affect their quality of life.
📋
High overhead built into every cost
US healthcare pricing reflects administrative costs, liability insurance, and a complex insurance billing system — none of which reflects the actual cost of delivering care.
Internationally — with MyMediTour
A fraction of the US cost — same technology
The same surgical procedures, the same imaging technology, and equally trained specialists — often 60–80% less than comparable US pricing. Not because the quality is lower. Because the system is different.
📅
Faster access to care
International patients are typically scheduled within weeks, not months. The system is designed to be efficient — many hospitals have dedicated international patient departments with their own coordinators.
🏆
International accreditation, proven outcomes
Many of our partner hospitals are JCI-accredited — the international gold standard for hospital quality and patient safety — and have served patients from the US and Europe for decades.
60–80%
Typical cost reduction
Most patients save 60–80% compared to equivalent US pricing — without compromising on the quality of care or the qualifications of their surgeon.
Same
Technology and standards
International hospitals use the same surgical systems, imaging equipment, and post-operative protocols as leading US facilities — often purchased from the same manufacturers.
JCI
Accreditation standard
Joint Commission International accreditation is the same quality framework used to evaluate US hospitals — applied globally to partner facilities that meet the highest safety standards.

All cost figures are estimates. Final pricing depends on procedure, patient case, and destination — confirmed by the provider after evaluation. MyMediTour does not guarantee pricing.

"Is it actually safe to travel abroad for treatment?"

It's a completely fair question.
Here's the honest answer.

Many hospitals around the world meet — and often exceed — international standards for patient safety and clinical outcomes. They're accredited, they use advanced technology, and they treat patients from the US and Europe every single day. What feels unfamiliar isn't the same as what's unsafe.

Many of the physicians at our partner hospitals completed their training or residencies in the US, UK, Germany, or France. The difference between them and their US counterparts isn't skill — it's the system they work within and what that system charges you.

"The difference is not necessarily quality — it's cost, access, and how healthcare systems are structured. With the right guidance, what feels unfamiliar becomes a safe and life-changing opportunity."

Let's be honest — medical travel can feel overwhelming

We don't just send you anywhere.
We guide you through every step.

You're not just choosing a procedure. You're choosing a hospital, a surgeon, and a country. If you get it wrong, the consequences are real. That's where we come in.

01
We carefully select every hospital we work with
MyMediTour works only with hospitals that meet international standards — JCI-accredited facilities with experienced specialists who regularly treat patients from the US and Europe. We do not refer patients to providers we haven't vetted.
02
We review your case and match you to the right provider
Your case isn't forwarded to a generic database. A coordinator reviews your medical history, your goals, and your circumstances — then identifies the specific hospitals and specialists best suited to your situation.
03
We guide you from evaluation to recovery
From your first evaluation to your treatment plan, your travel coordination, and your return home — MyMediTour is with you every step. We handle the logistics so you can focus on your health. No guesswork. No shortcuts.
04
Transparent, honest guidance — not sales
We present your options honestly. If a procedure isn't appropriate for your case, we tell you. If a destination isn't the right fit, we say so. We'd rather give you accurate information than close a deal that isn't right for you.
05
Full support — before, during, and after
Your coordinator is available throughout your journey — before you travel, during your treatment, and as you return home. We help with scheduling, travel prep, and communication with your medical team.

Questions we hear before patients decide

Honest answers.

These are the real objections. We answer them the same way we would in a direct conversation.

Many of them are — and some exceed US standards in specific areas. JCI accreditation is the same international framework used to evaluate US hospitals and is earned by partner facilities in Turkey, Colombia, Costa Rica, South Korea, and more. Many physicians completed residencies or fellowships at top US, UK, or European institutions. The difference between them and their US counterparts isn't the level of training or equipment — it's the pricing structure of the healthcare system they work within.
It's not because the quality is lower. It's because healthcare systems are structured differently. In the US, pricing reflects complex insurance billing systems, high administrative overhead, liability costs, and regulatory pricing structures that inflate the final bill significantly. International hospitals operate under different models — with lower overhead, more efficient administration, and without the same insurance markup structure. The surgeon's skill and the hospital's equipment are often equivalent. The cost to deliver care is genuinely lower.
This is the most important question to ask — and the right one. Our partner hospitals have structured protocols for complications and post-operative care. For most procedures, follow-up care at home is manageable with your local physician using the surgical records we help you obtain. We also strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance with medical evacuation coverage for all international procedures. If you ask a reputable international hospital about their complication protocols and they can't answer clearly, don't proceed — the ones we work with always can.
MyMediTour is a medical tourism facilitator — not a clinic, not a booking platform, and not a referral service. We coordinate: reviewing your case, identifying the right hospitals and surgeons, obtaining personalized quotes, helping you schedule and prepare for travel, and supporting you throughout your treatment and return home. We do not perform procedures or make medical decisions — those are made by the licensed physicians at our partner facilities. Our role is to make the entire process clear, safe, and well-supported.
No. Submitting your evaluation, receiving your options, and speaking with a coordinator is completely free. There is no commitment at any stage until you decide to proceed — and even then, the decision is entirely yours. We don't pressure, we don't upsell, and we don't charge for the guidance we provide. If treatment abroad isn't the right choice for your case, we'll tell you that too.

Still unsure? Reach out directly — we'll answer any question you have.
